Ground floor extension with balcony

West Devon

Studio Tor was appointed to design a large ground floor extension with internal reconfiguration to a semi-detached house. The new extension creates a living area with a separate snug. This provides the family with a new dining space to enjoy meals together. A balcony was included from the bedroom so the client can enjoy views over Dartmoor.

Two storey side extension with internal alterations

Dartmoor

We designed a large, two storey, side extension with internal alterations to a chalet bungalow in Dartmoor. The new extension has allowed the creation of a separate family dining room and spacious living room. Further internal alterations include a new utility and pantry on the ground floor. The existing upstairs attic room is reconfigured to provide a new principal bedroom suite and office. The bedroom has an ensuite, dressing area and balcony.

Single storey extension with internal alterations

West Devon

Studio Tor designed a contemporary side extension with kitchen-dining for a small bungalow. The extension was designed with a vaulted ceiling and large areas of glazing to create light and views into the garden. The old kitchen became a third bedroom, and a new laundry was created from the old WC. To bring the home into the 21st century PV panels, an EV car charger and ‘smart home’ technology were included to lower energy consumption.
